Dr. Rabie examines your mouth and takes digital X-rays or a panoramic image to see the exact position, angle, and root development of each wisdom tooth. Based on this, he'll explain whether extraction is needed and what type of procedure to expect.
On the day of your procedure, we apply local anesthesia to fully numb the extraction area. For patients who are particularly anxious or having multiple teeth removed, sedation options may be discussed during your consultation. We do not begin until you're completely comfortable.
For erupted teeth, Dr. Rabie loosens and removes the tooth using specialized instruments. For impacted teeth, a small incision is made in the gum, and if necessary, a small amount of bone is removed to access the tooth.
